Under the direct supervision of the Food Services Director/Assistant, the Dining Service Associate is responsible for diversified tasks within the food service department including ware washing, department sanitation and other processes to ensure that the department operates in a clean, sanitary and safe manner.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPreparation of PV dining area, including supplies and equipment to run efficientlyPrepare mop bucketRecord and maintain temperatures of equipment and food in appropriate logsFollow and monitor portions and diet plans according to Federal and State guidelinesServe supper in PV dining area, break down coldFollow all food safety protocolsFollow all proper cleaning/sanitation procedures and thoroughly clean and sanitize personal work areas, equipment, and suppliesServe breakfast and assist with daily menus (return to kitchen 8:30)Finish prep of salad bar for PV & LPPrepare PV dining area for lunch serviceServe lunch and assist with daily menus (return to kitchen 12:45)Prep salad bar items for the following dayClean, sweep and sanitize your area at the end of each shiftBe open and flexible to changes in positions and duties for the appropriate staffing situationHold self accountable for following the appropriate call-in proceduresRequired Education and ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredExcellent customer service skillsPrevious kitchen experience preferredMust hold or be willing to obtain a Sanitation licensePossess good leadership and problem solving skills J-18808-Ljbffr
