Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in the Coachella, CA area, serving school-aged children. This role is ideal for OTs with experience in school settings who are ready to make an immediate impact and support student development through targeted therapy interventions.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional needs.Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly to meet educational and developmental goals.Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school district and state regulations.Participate in team meetings and assist with assessments and screenings as needed.Qualifications:Valid Occupational Therapist license.Experience working within school environments highly preferred.Strong knowledge of child development and pediatric therapy techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working alongside educators and families.Ability to manage caseloads effectively and prioritize student needs.Location & Schedule:Position based in Coachella, CA.Full-time role, 40 hours per week.Immediate start (ASAP) through the end of the school year (EOSY) with potential extension into the following academic year.Benefits:Opportunity to directly impact the educational success and well-being of children.Collaborative work environment with access to professional development.Supportive administrative team focused on therapy service excellence.Interested candidates who meet these qualifications are encouraged to apply promptly.
