Accounting Clerk

Responsibilities Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other records detailing financial transactions (i.e. disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable, accounts receivable). Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements Help provide and prepare information for reports in a timely manner Assist with other accounting projects Keep sensitive information confidential Perform general office support like filing and other administrative tasks Qualifications 1-3 years of accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Proficient in Microsoft applications Effective verbal and written communication skills Reading comprehension skills strong enough to read and interpret financial documents General knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures Strong comfortability in an office environment Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately Ability to work independently Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
