Vue3 Full Stack Developer

*Job Overview* WorkRecords is looking for some development help for our very small but growing team here in Dallas. You can work anywhere in the US, but we are Dallas and do prefer local candidates so we can meet up for lunches, work sessions, etc., but if you have experience working well remotely, we will consider you. Our current stack varies quite a bit, and ranges from old asp.net code to modern Vue 3 and most things in between. This role will be the person we rely on for the majority of our Vue 3 development efforts that will be building the next generation of our software. We do want someone that has full-stack experience though, so if you are "Vue only" then probably best to skip over this one. Ideally you know Microsoft SQL Server, C#, REST service coding, and one or more cloud infrastructures - we use Google Cloud for our deployments and have recently been utilizing CloudRun - so that would make you stand out for us as well. You can find more about the company from our website www.workrecords.com but in general we are a software company that builds B2B solutions for the staffing industry, with a major emphasis today on hospitality (think hotels and their contract workers). We are planning a large push into other verticals and a lot of software to create, rework, and improve. *Responsibilities * * Develop and implement user interfaces using Vue3, JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, etc. to create the next generation of our responsive web applications, and our new solutions required for us to expand. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, build out new UI wireframes and user flows, and convert into functional web designs that meet business needs in critical areas. * Help with full-stack development across Microsoft SQL Server, C# REST services, APIs, and data transfer tools. * Utilize AI to help with development and testing tasks. * Help analyze, update, and rework existing UI into modern UI so we can retire our old stacks and continue our evolution with Vue 3 and associated newer frameworks. * Be part of a team that is dedicated toward great design and code, collaboration, learning, and mentoring. We expect to grow the team and would love to have someone that can serve as a mentor as we grow. *Your Background Should Have* * Proven experience in front-end development with Vue3, JavaScript (including TypeScript), jQuery, React or Angular frameworks. * Strong knowledge of back-end technologies and REST service creation and usage * Familiarity with databases, prefer someone with Microsoft SQL Server experience. * Expertise with Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, GitHub, and Google Cloud. * Understanding of responsive web design principles to develop projects optimized for various devices and screen sizes. * Familiarity with DevOps practices, with high preference with someone familiar with Google Cloud, Cloud Run, Google Build Pipelines, etc. * Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment using project management tools. We use Jira today. * Excellent communication skills and friendly demeanor that likes people.
