Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM • Every other weekend coverage required • Patient ratios: Days 1:6, Nights 1:7, Weekends 1:8 • 2 years of nursing experience required • Travel experience required • Must live more than 50 miles from facility (locals not accepted within 75 miles) • Epic charting system experience required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS • Any nursing uniform color scrubs acceptable • 12-hour orientation provided • Float assignments required • Care for adult and geriatric patients (daily census: 20, unit capacity: 25 beds) • Treat patients with COPD, pneumonia, non-specific abdominal pain, cellulitis, chest pain rule out • Skills required: telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, rapid response/code team use, blood product administration, central line and PICC line care, IV starts and maintenance, CVA care, seizure disorder management, substance withdrawal care, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, oxygen administration, isolation precautions/PPE • Interdisciplinary support available: physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, unit secretary • Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours) • New York license required in hand to submit Facility: This community hospital provides comprehensive medical and surgical care with a focus on telemetry monitoring services.
