You'll help keep service running smoothly as the day team transitions off shift — answering client and caregiver calls, handling same-day and next-day schedule changes, supporting scheduling logistics, documenting updates, reviewing visit notes for compliance issues, and executing recurring operations tasks.This is not a passive administrative role. You will be actively helping solve real-time operational issues across multiple care programs, communicating with clients and caregivers, coordinating with internal teams, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.If you are organized, calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and energized by keeping a busy operation moving, this role may be a great fit.What You'll Be DoingAnswer inbound calls from clients, families, and caregivers across Tandem's 3 service linesTriage calls professionally, document updates clearly, and route follow-up to the appropriate team memberTake over reactive schedule support in the afternoon, including caregiver call-outs, same-day changes, and next-day adjustmentsProcess schedule requests for families who need to add, move, or adjust care visitsSupport the scheduling team with schedule mechanics when neededReturn and resolve voicemails received during your shiftReview caregiver visit notes for completeness, basic professionalism, and obvious safety concernsEscalate urgent client or caregiver issues to the appropriate managerMonitor caregiver engagement signals, including visit note completion, app usage, and responsivenessHelp identify patterns that may indicate caregiver reliability or retention concernsExecute recurring operational tasks, including payroll audits, billing audits, reimbursements, long-term care insurance submissions, and holiday billing supportSupport caregiver recognition efforts, including birthdays, anniversaries, milestones, and post-difficult-visit check-insMaintain accurate documentation of all client and caregiver interactionsPost an end-of-shift summary so the morning team knows what was handled, what is pending, and what needs attention first thing the next dayCollaborate closely with Operations, Care Coordination, Scheduling, Recruiting, and Care Management teams to ensure consistent service deliveryThis Role Is a Great Fit If You…Have worked in a licensed home care agency and understand how quickly schedules, client needs, and caregiver availability can changeAre comfortable being on the phone with clients, families, and caregivers throughout the dayCan stay calm and solution-oriented when a caregiver calls out, a client needs a schedule change, or multiple issues happen at onceAre highly organized and able to keep track of many moving piecesCommunicate clearly and document thoroughlyUnderstand that follow-through matters and that small details can impact client safety and service qualityAre comfortable working across multiple teams and service linesCan distinguish between what needs immediate escalation and what needs to be documented for follow-upAre proactive, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote environmentEnjoy operational problem-solving more than traditional administrative workQualifications2+ years of experience in home care operations, scheduling, care coordination, client services, or a similar role within a licensed home care agencyDirect experience communicating with caregivers and clients in a fast-paced care environmentExperience with schedule changes, call-outs, client requests, or caregiver support strongly preferredComfortable working remotely while staying highly responsive and organizedStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong documentation habits and attention to detailAbility to manage competing priorities and frequent context switchingBachelor's degree preferred, but not requiredWhy Join TandemCompetitive pay: $28–$30/hour, based on experienceFull-time, consistent scheduleComprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision401(k) with company matchPaid time offFully remote role with a highly collaborative teamClear structure, systems, and expectationsOpportunity to support multiple service lines and gain broad operational exposureMeaningful work that directly impacts client safety, caregiver support, and quality of careReady to Apply?If you have real home care operations experience and are ready for a role where organization, communication, judgment, and follow-through matter every day, we'd love to hear from you.
