Job Title: Credentialing Specialist – Payer Enrollment Job Type:Contract Location:100% RemotePosition Overview:We are seeking an experiencedCredentialing Specialistfor a remote contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have5+ years of experiencein provider credentialing, strongpayer enrollment expertise , and hands-on experience withPrimary Source Verification (PSV) . This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage high-volume credentialing and enrollment processes while ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations.Key Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle provider credentialing and re-credentialing Handle payer enrollment and revalidation for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers Prepare, submit, and track provider enrollment applications PerformPrimary Source Verification (PSV)for licenses, education, board certifications, DEA registrations, and work history Maintain and update CAQH profiles, including attestations Track expiring credentials and ensure timely renewals Follow up with payers to resolve enrollment issues and ensure timely approvals Maintain accurate provider files and credentialing databases Ensure compliance with NCQA, CMS, and payer-specific requirements Support internal audits and reporting requirementsRequired Qualifications: 5+ years of provider credentialing and payer enrollment experience Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollment processes Proven hands-on experience withPrimary Source Verification (PSV) Experience managing multi-state enrollments preferred Proficiency with CAQH and credentialing software Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently in a remote environment
