You'll have the opportunity to streamline processes, lead strategic initiatives, and make a direct impact on the success of our clients and the growth of our business.Job ResponsibilitiesManage a Fund Accounting team, ensuring client deadlines are met and work is executed in accordance with internal controlsInterpret fund agreements to determine impact on fund set-ups, financial reporting, and NAV reportingMaintain thorough knowledge of client base and industry standards to serve and communicate with clients effectivelyServe as senior client escalation, proactively resolving issues and communicating solutionsLead and support training initiatives, manage team capacity, budgets, and cross-training plansDrive special projects, new client/fund onboarding, and internal investment initiativesPrepare and review fund, share class, and investor allocations, including management and performance fee calculationsPrepare and review Net Asset Value files and daily profit & loss statementsStreamline operational processes to reduce risk and improve efficiencyRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills10+ years of accounting experienceDeep knowledge of hedge/private equity fund environments, including investor allocations, share classes, and complex investment/securities processingBachelor's degreeInnovative and analytical mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrategic thinker with a proven track recordStrong team player with the ability to drive projects to completion independentlyExceptional client service orientation and ability to manage demanding client relationshipsPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsProfessional accounting qualification (CA, CPA)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or FinanceExperience in Public Big 4 and partnership or hedge/private equity fund accountingExperience with Investran or similar integrated Private Equity systemsFamiliarity with private equity concepts such as waterfall calculations, capital call/distribution processing, and PE investment structures
