This role is highly execution‑oriented and requires strong analytical skills, comfort working directly with data, and the ability to translate business questions into well‑designed models, measures, and visualizations.The ideal candidate will own Power BI solutions end‑to‑end—spanning data analysis, semantic modeling, DAX, and report development—while partnering closely with business stakeholders and IT/data teams within a governed analytics environment.Qualifications 5+ years of hands‑on experience in business intelligence, analytics, or reporting roles with a strong focus on Power BI developmentAdvanced proficiency in Power BI, including:Building and maintaining Power BI semantic modelsDeveloping production‑quality reports and dashboardsWriting and optimizing DAX measures for analytical use casesStrong data analysis skills, with the ability to:Explore, validate, and interpret dataIdentify trends, anomalies, and root causesTranslate business questions into analytical logic and metricsSolid SQL experience, including writing, modifying, and troubleshooting queries used for reporting and modelingExperience designing clean, scalable data models, including star schemas, relationships, and reusable metricsFamiliarity with governed self‑service analytics and Citizen IT models in Power BI (datasets, certified/promoted content, shared measures)Strong understanding of business operations, KPIs, and performance metrics, with the ability to challenge assumptions using dataExperience working cross‑functionally with IT, data engineering, and business teamsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical concepts and data findings to non‑technical stakeholdersAbility to work independently, take ownership of BI assets, and drive solutions from concept through deliveryComfort leading in‑person working sessions and collaborating directly with business leaders
