Job Title: Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer (Onsite)Location: Tallahassee, FL (100% Onsite)Duration: 12 Months+ (Possible Extension)Interview: VirtualJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join a long-term project supporting the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle database development, complex PL/SQL programming, SQL performance tuning, full-stack application development, and technical leadership. This role requires working onsite in Tallahassee, FL, with no remote or hybrid option.Required Qualifications7+ years of experience developing complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including DML and DDL.5+ years of Oracle application development experience.3+ years of experience with SQL and database performance tuning.3+ years of full-stack web application development.5+ years of experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers.3+ years of experience working with financial or accounting-related applications.Strong knowledge of relational database design and object-oriented programming.Experience with MVC frameworks, preferably CodeIgniter.Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices.Experience with database tools such as TOAD, SQL Developer, or SQL Navigator.Knowledge of database security, including role-based security.Experience with UML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, or modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Node.js.Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and XP.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Must be able to work onsite in Tallahassee, FL for the duration of the assignment.Preferred QualificationsOracle Certification.Experience with environmental regulatory business processes.Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS accounting standards.Previous experience supporting state government or public sector applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle database applications.Develop complex SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Optimize database performance and troubleshoot application issues.Develop and maintain application reports.Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Maintain technical documentation and user guides.Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.Support application deployments, maintenance, and production issue resolution.Required Work Arrangement100% onsite in Tallahassee, Florida.No remote or hybrid work available.Candidates must be willing to relocate if not currently local.
