This positionensures electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and incompliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Work mayinclude facilities, street lighting, traffic signals, water/wastewatersystems, and other municipal operations. Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring,fixtures, panels, motors, generators, and control systems in Cityfacilities and infrastructure. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensurereliability and safety. Install and maintain streetlights, traffic signals, and outdoorelectrical systems as assigned. Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHAstandards, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Respond to emergency electrical issues, including after-hours andon-call situations. Follow all City safety policies and procedures. Perform related duties as assigned.
