Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components for industrial machinery and equipment. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, attention to safety, and hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstalls and/or repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of Industrial machinery and equipment by performing the following duties.Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipmentInstall power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment and such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllersConnect power supply wires to machines, equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipmentDiagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cablesReplace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, and motors, and position sensing devicesDiagnose and repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as printed circuit boardsReplace electric motor bearings and rewires motorsPlan layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildingsDiagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipmentPerform all duties in conformance with company safety policies and proceduresEducation and/or Work Experience RequirementsTwo (2)-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.All state or federal requirements; or any license or certification that may be required by the contract in which the employee is workingStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
