The Plant Manager reports directly to the Regional Director. The Plant Managerwill also communicate with the Territory Transportation Manager on vehicle repairs, gallon reporting,accidents, infractions, registration, certifications and inspections. The Plant Manager will also communicatewith the Supply Management team on proper margin management for Fuel, Oils, Lubricants, Grease, DEF,Chemicals, and other ancillary products.Duties/Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToAd HocThe Plant Manager must complete the “Class A/B UST certification before start dateThe Plant Manager must complete the Hazwoper 24 hour certification training courseCommunicate with NV Sales Team on their customer account needs and the resources available for product delivery Travel to Customer Facilities to meet with customers and the appropriate Sales Associate to view facility and work on customer relationsPerforms closing of warehouse proceduresSetup & repair equipment on as needed basisAssist drivers with small package deliveries as neededDailyPerforms daily opening proceduresPerforms and records daily inspection of warehouse Receive and process phone and e-mail product ordersDispatch driversBalance & process delivery tickets and invoicesLoad & unload trucksFill inventory for warehouseOrder inventoryMake sure office and warehouse is cleanRecord tank CSLD readingUpdate fuel pricesWeeklyProcess paperwork and issue purchase orders against purchasesMake sure office and warehouse are cleanCheck inventory levels to determine if product needs to be orderedUpdate & review sales & profit spreadsheet to make sure of continued growthPerform weekly safety meetings with plant personnel.MonthlyPerforms and records monthly visual integrity inspection of tanks and secondary containmentReview P&L Statement with Regional Director and discuss areas for improvement or continued success Complete monthly operational compliance evaluation and make sure all operators and yard workers complete their monthly operational compliance evaluationComplete plant inspection report to identify and correct hazardous issuesVerify permits & inspections are current for the facility and vehiclesAttend monthly safety meetingsPerform month end tasks which include but are not limited to, inventorying warehouse and bulk plant products, etc.QuarterlyPerform and records quarterly inspections of spill kits & drums & tote storageThe Plant will undergo a quarterly audit by the Safety & Compliance Manager. Pro.vide all necessary compliance recordkeeping and implement any necessary improvements or suggestions to record keeping or facility.AnnualPerform end of year inventory auditArrange Fire Extinguisher CertificationRenew the Hazwoper 24 hour certification with an 8 hour refresher training coursePhysical TasksPerform physical labor in a variety of extreme weather conditions, including walking, bending, stooping,climbing tanks, digging, lifting, and general manual labor. Climbing safely, without assistance, while holdingon to a handrail with one hand and carrying equipment, such as tank gauging tools or tool bag in other hand.Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, etc. for extended periods of time and negotiate uneven or unpavedsurfaces. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.Working at Elevated HeightsWalk the Perimeter of the FacilityProcess Daily PaperworkOpen & Close ValvesTake oil Samples from Fuel Lines & Fuel TanksLift Hoses – Approximately 30-50 lbs.Gauge & Sample Fuel TanksTank Farm Maintenance – Landscaping, Painting, RepairOperate ForkliftMove drums (up to 400 lbs.)Carry buckets of oil (up to 35 lbs.Working ConditionsExtended hours may be requiredMay be required to work alone/unsupervisedMay be exposed to some refined oil products containing chemicals that may be related to certain types of illnesses or reproductive toxicity.
