Join our New York team as an Account Director, working with leading global brands to deliver high-impact digital communications programmes and drive client growth. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly, identify opportunities for growth. This role spans corporate communications, digital engagement, and enterprise brand storytelling, offering exposure to complex, multi-stakeholder environments.What You'll Be DoingClient Relationship & Account LeadershipLead day-to-day client relationships across a portfolio of accounts, acting as the primary point of contactBuild strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders, progressively developing senior-level engagementDevelop a strong understanding of client business modelsHold regular client status meetings, performance check-ins and activity reviewsCommercial & Revenue ResponsibilityManage a defined revenue target across multiple client accountsSupport client retention through consistent delivery, clear communication and value demonstrationTake an active role in renewals, including preparing renewal proposals and supporting negotiationsIdentify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts and escalate larger growth opportunities as appropriateAccount Growth & Opportunity DevelopmentProactively identify client needs, white space and potential opportunities for additional servicesDevelop new buying and influencer contacts within client organisationsContribute to the development of proposals, pricing and recommendationsSupport competitive tenders and new business pitches alongside senior team membersDelivery Oversight & Quality ControlOversee the delivery of projects and retainers across assigned accountsLead project check-ins before and after key milestones to ensure alignment, quality and efficiencyWork closely with delivery, product and specialist teams to ensure work is delivered on time, on budget and to agreed standardsIdentify and manage risks, issues and dependencies proactivelyCollaboration & Team ContributionWork collaboratively with senior leadership to support overall account strategyContribute to knowledge sharing and best practice within the Account Management teamAbout YouExperience in an Account Director or Senior Account Manager role within digital, corporate communications, investor relations or related agency environment.Proven experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneouslyCommercial awareness with experience working to revenue targetsStrong project and stakeholder management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to identify opportunities and contribute to account growthCollaborative, proactive and detail-oriented approachAbout UsIDX isn't your average communications company.
