Your New RoleUnder general direction, this position will assist in the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs in accordance with guidelines and policies to provide recommendations on compensation issues and proposals. This position will report to a Warner Bros. Discovery Compensation Lead.
This role supports the Compensation function by carrying out activities that embody 'Act as One Team' mindset, whereby collaboration across Comp Ops, P&C, TA, etc. is expected. This role also champions inclusion, by listening to various ideas and bringing them to Manager for consideration when market pricing roles, etc. The role supports Owning It by being accountable for assigned tasks whether big or small to help support driving decision making by Manager, etc.
It is an essential function of this position that the work be performed in a hybrid work environment, where employees go into an office 3x a week where they are based in a WBD office that has P&C Partners due to the client-service nature of the role.
Your Role AccountabilitiesConduct job analysis, evaluation and salary administration to determine appropriate salary grades, ranges, and pricing based on internal and external equity
Work closely with Compensation Manager on preparing analysis for new hire offers, and adjustments
Participates in a variety of Human Resources and Compensation related analytical projects including the Total Rewards Planning year-end compensation cycle
Support industry market survey submission process for assigned area(s).
Review survey results and collate changes for discussion
Support the planning and execution of job analysis activities, including obtaining job descriptions and Identifying survey market matches
Provide ongoing job architecture maintenance and support including submitting job profile code additions and removals
Provide market research when needed for ad hoc compensation data requests
Support promotion process for BU by conducting internal equity analysis and initial salary recommendations for Compensation Manager review
Assist in cross-functional support, including special projects with respect to compensation-related matters
Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources Management or equivalent experience; CCP a plus
2+ years of experience in compensation
Must be able to work in a fast-paced changing environment
Knowledge of compensation principals, programs, practices
Intermediate Excel skills required including VLOOKUPs, formulas, creating charts and graphics, pivot tables
Solid experience with Workday or similar HRIS platform
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Strong analytics and problem-solving skills with a desire to learn and grow in the compensation field
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once
High attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations a plus
Ability to handle sensitive HR information with high degree of confidentiality and discretion

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $68,320.00 - $126,880.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
