Vice President Operations
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Manufacturing has full accountability for manufacturing, end-to-end supply chain, maintenance, engineering, safety, and operational excellence across Solina’s U.S. manufacturing facilities located in Las Vegas, NV; Eastvale, CA; Bolingbrook, IL, Countryside, IL and Somerset, NJ.This role is responsible for developing and executing an integrated manufacturing and supply chain strategy that optimizes resources, enhances cost competitiveness, supports multi-market manufacturing requirements, and enables long-term, sustainable growth. The SVP ensures operational excellence across all plants, oversees capacity and network planning, and drives continuous improvement through world-class methodologies.The SVP of Manufacturing will work cross-functionally with Sales, Business Development, Customer Service, Purchasing, Finance, and the Solina Group global organization to ensure alignment of operational priorities and seamless support of both domestic and global customers. The role also provides leadership for integration planning and project management for major growth, transformation, and productivity initiatives.Position ResponsibilitiesStrategic Operations & Supply Chain Leadership· Lead, manage, and optimize end-to-end operations including manufacturing, procurement, logistics, planning, warehousing, and distribution.· Develop and execute a comprehensive manufacturing and supply chain strategy for all U.S. facilities.· Deliver annual productivity improvements and operational efficiencies while developing a project pipeline to support growth, margin expansion, and operational excellence.· Build scalable operational systems, processes, and tools that reinforce accountability, stability, and continuous improvement.Plant, People & Performance Leadership· Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 600+ employees across six sites to safely produce products that meet specification, quality, cost, and service targets.· Establish performance metrics and ensure facility leadership achieves operational KPIs, including safety, quality, service levels, cost, and throughput.· Partner with the Director and VP of Operations along with the Plant Managers to identify improvement opportunities, streamline operations, and increase productivity.P&L, Budgeting & Cost Management· Manage plant operations to meet or exceed annual P&L, labor, and expense targets.· Set clear goals for operational leaders aligned with overall financial performance expectations.· Drive cost optimization across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and logistics functions.Capacity Planning, Capital Investment & Growth· Develop a master capacity plan aligned with commercial growth forecasts.· Build detailed capital expenditure plans that support future volume requirements and efficiency improvements.· Lead the planning and execution of capital projects, ensuring installations occur on time and within approved budgets.Maintenance, Engineering & Reliability· Oversee engineering and maintenance functions to ensure equipment uptime, reliability, and preventive maintenance scheduling.· Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime, increase asset utilization, and improve operational stability.Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration· Partner with Solina Group globally to support global customers, shared capabilities, and international operational standards.· Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Customer Service to support customer requirements, new product initiatives, and service excellence.Integration, Transformation & Continuous Improvement· Lead operational integration activities for new business acquisitions or consolidation initiatives.· Drive Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or related continuous improvement practices across all operations.· Serve as executive sponsor for major transformation, automation, and digitalization initiatives.Qualifications / Education / Experience / Skills· Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from an accredited institution; advanced degree preferred. OR equivalent of 10+ years leading multi-site manufacturing and supply chain operations with a strong track record in safety, labor management, quality, productivity, and cost control.· Proven leadership experience overseeing large-scale, multi-facility operations with P&L accountability.· Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop diverse, high-performing teams.· Demonstrated expertise in problem solving, manufacturing methodologies, operations management, supply chain processes, and quality systems.· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple complex priorities.· Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning capabilities, including the ability to prepare cost estimates, capital justifications, and financial analyses.· Thorough understanding of plant operations, materials flow, manufacturing processes, and operational KPIs.· Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and interdependently.
