System Administrator

Brooksource is hiring a Systems Administrator who will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our client’s technology systems, ensuring the reliability, security, and stable operation of their systems, cloud, networking infrastructure, and end-user environments. This role owns endpoint modernization with Microsoft Intune (including SCCM migration, Autopilot, and White Glove) and acts as the senior escalation point within the Service Desk. Additionally, this Systems Administrator will administer and optimize SharePoint to improve structure, findability, and end‑user experience—creating documentation and training tailored to non-technical users. What You’ll Do Advanced Systems Administration & Technical Expertise Lead endpoint management modernization using Microsoft Intune, including SCCM migration, Autopilot, and White Glove deployments. Serve as top-tier escalation (Tier 2/3) for cybersecurity, networking, OS, enterprise apps, and M365/SharePoint. Own and optimize enterprise systems using automation and best practices. SharePoint Administration & End-User Experience Administer and support the SharePoint environment. Organize and restructure approx. 500 files to improve accessibility. Create documentation, FAQs, KB articles, and onboarding training. Incident, Problem & Change Management Own incident and problem management using ITIL principles. Support change management and ensure low-impact deployment of updates. User Support, Mentorship & Process Improvement Provide white-glove support and escalate complex issues. Mentor Service Desk team and improve processes. Identify automation opportunities to reduce repetitive work. Required Qualifications 2+ years in Systems Administration supporting enterprise environments. Experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM migration, Autopilot, and White Glove. Experience with Windows/macOS, M365, SharePoint, virtualization, LAN/WAN/Wireless, VPN, VDI, and cybersecurity tools. PowerShell scripting knowledge. ITIL understanding. Strong communication and customer service skills.
