Proven integration design/build/troubleshooting 5. Workday APIs Position Overview: We are seeking a senior, hands-on integration engineer HR platform expertise and strong system-agnostic integration and software engineering fundamentals. This role is responsible for designing, building, and troubleshooting API-driven integrations between Workday and enterprise platforms. Workday serves as the system of record, while Microsoft Power Automate and other tools act as orchestration and execution layers. The ideal candidate combines: - Deep knowledge of Workday APIs, data structures, and business process behavior - Strong understanding of integration architecture and engineering principles that apply across any system or platform - This is not a functional HRIS role, not a project manager role, and not a Studio-only integration role JOB REQUIREMENTS 4+ years of HR Integrations engineering experience - experience doing integrations with various systems - Yellow, Cornerstone, qualtrics, Workday, etc... Must have experience w/ Workday, but not focused - need to be able to work across other systems Design and implement integrations across HR platforms using REST/SOAP APIs, data models, and business process/workflow logic. Construct XML payloads and API requests Strong experience with Power Automate and API layers Do NOT submit candidates who are primarily: - Workday Studio-only developers - Functional HRIS analysts or configurators - Integration project managers - Certification-heavy with limited real implementation experience
