AWS/CES is looking for an Industrial Electrician Location: Roanoke, INType: Full-Time | Temp-to-HirePay: $36.29/hourWe are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical issues, and ensure a safe and reliable working environment.Shifts Available:2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AMMinimum Qualifications:Valid electrician’s license or certificationProven experience in industrial or commercial electrical workStrong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematicsFamiliarity with electrical safety protocols and codesAbility to work assigned shifts and respond to emergency callsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with automated systems and controlsKnowledge of PLC programming and troubleshootingManufacturing or assembly environment experienceElectrical safety certificationBasic computer skills for maintenance documentationKey Responsibilities:Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipmentDiagnose and repair electrical malfunctions to minimize downtimeDevelop and follow preventive maintenance schedulesMaintain compliance with safety regulations and electrical codesAccurately document repair and maintenance activitiesSkills:Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematicsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesTeam-oriented mindset for working with maintenance staffCommitment to workplace safetyPLC knowledge is a plusApply today!
