Salesforce Developer
*Role:* Salesforce Developer/Administrator
*Primary Focus:* Support and maintenance of the Department's Enterprise Grants System
*Education Requirement:*
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another IT-related field, OR equivalent work experience
*Key Responsibilities*
* *System Administration & Maintenance*
* Perform routine administrative functions: user account maintenance, reports, dashboards, workflows, and system settings adjustments for visibility and security.
* Create and manage custom objects, fields, validations, flows, email templates, and page layouts.
* Manage sandboxes and deployments using Gearset.
* *User Support & Training*
* Conduct training sessions for new and existing users on system functionality.
* Proactively gather user feedback and address concerns.
* Ensure seamless system changes with minimal user disruption.
* *Data Management*
* Assist in managing duplicate or dirty data.
* Clean up unused fields, reports, and dashboards.
* *Project Quality Assurance*
* Maintain high-quality standards for all deliverables.
* Provide expertise in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and optimizing business processes.
* *Development Assistance*
* Contribute to the development of Lightning Web Components.
*Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs)*
* *Technical Expertise*
* Certified Salesforce Administrator.
* Proficient in object-oriented approaches to system design and development.
* Strong functional understanding of object-oriented databases and systems.
* Sound analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
* *Business Process Optimization*
* Proven ability to analyze and optimize business processes through technology and integration.
* *Project and Team Skills*
* Ability to gather and develop requirements based on user needs.
* Capability to manage multiple, time-critical projects simultaneously.
* Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
* *Development Knowledge*
* Basic knowledge of SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Web Components.
*Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs)*
* *Advanced Development Skills*
* Certified Salesforce Platform Developer.
* Proficient in Visualforce/APEX, Unit Test Development, JSON, XML.
* Development experience with Sales Cloud, Community Cloud, and SSO.
* *Integration & Automation*
* Experience with backend data integration using HTTP, Web Services.
* Expertise in implementing Conga Composer Document Generation Solutions.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From $65.00 per hour
