Capacity Engineer

Job Description Responsible for building scalable, cost-efficient infrastructure by forecasting demand, analyzing usage trends, and automating resource provisioning. Ensures reliable performance while preventing over/under-provisioning.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for infrastructure dataDevelop models for capacity planning and demand forecastingAnalyze usage trends (CPU, memory, storage)Conduct load testing and identify scaling bottlenecksOptimize cost vs performanceAutomate provisioning using Terraform/IaCSupport resilient architecture design with engineering teamsToolsPrometheus, Grafana, Datadog; Terraform, Ansible; Python, SQL, Spark, Airflow; Chaos EngineeringQualifications10–15 years in Data Engineering and SREStrong experience in capacity planning, forecasting, scalingHands-on with IaC, ETL/ELT, and big data toolsExposure to monitoring platforms and resilience testingStrong collaboration and communication skills Mandatory Skills: Data Engineering Full Stack .Experience: 8-10 YearsThe expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
