We are partnering with a growing packaging manufacturer to hire a HR Manager who will play a critical leadership role in a fast-paced, unionized manufacturing environment.This is a high-impact position for a hands-on HR leader who thrives at the intersection of labor relations, operations partnership, and people strategy.You'll work closely with plant leadership to drive engagement, performance, and continuous improvement across a 24/7 operation.Location : Tulsa, OK - Relocation Available for out of state candidateBase Pay : up to $130k/annual + Bonus and Other benefitsDescriptionLabor Relations & Union PartnershipAct as the primary liaison between management and union representativesLead grievance handling, investigations, and arbitration processesSupport collective bargaining agreement (CBA) negotiations and labor strategyInterpret and administer union contractsEmployee Relations & LeadershipDrive a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace cultureCoach and support supervisors on employee relations and conflict resolutionLead fair and consistent investigations and disciplinary processesHR Operations & Talent StrategyOversee recruiting, onboarding, and retention for hourly and salaried teamsPartner with operations to meet staffing needs for a 24/7 manufacturing environmentLead performance management, succession planning, and employee development initiativesTeam Leadership & StrategyLead and develop a team of HR professionalsDrive HR initiatives aligned with business goals and continuous improvement effortsMonitor HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, etc.) and implement data-driven improvementsCompliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with federal and state labor laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA)Partner with EHS to support safety and wellness programsMaintain accurate HR reporting and documentationRequirementsBachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsStrong union labor relations experience (grievances, arbitration, contract interpretation)Strong working knowledge of HR disciplines: employee relations, compensation, benefits, and talent developmentExperience in heavy manufacturing is highly preferred
