Ecommerce Program Management ConsultantThe consultant will provide eCommerce program management consulting services to the client. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing the following phases for each assigned program:A. Onboarding and DiscoveryDevelop an understanding of the client's values, culture, program management methodologies, and planning tools.Identify key stakeholders and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Follow established project and program management practices.Initiate new projects in accordance with the client's Project Management Office (PMO) processes and documentation requirements.B. Project Planning and StrategyDevelop comprehensive project plans, including: Project charterStakeholder matrixProject timeline and milestonesRisk management planCommunication planResource allocation planBudget and financial forecastsMaintain accurate and current budget forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure timecard submissions and approvals align with resource allocation plans and financial forecasts.C. Project Execution – Phase 1Establish and facilitate recurring project status meetings.Assign and track tasks for developers and other team members.Monitor progress against established timelines, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.Provide regular status updates to management and cross-functional teams.D. Project Execution – Phase 2Maintain oversight of project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.Manage the transition from the proof-of-concept (POC) phase into subsequent project phases.Present project progress and functionality demonstrations to key stakeholders.Provide updates during weekly core team meetings and monthly steering committee meetings.E. Project Execution – Phase 3Coordinate the promotion of functionality to testing and staging environments.Collaborate with the testing team to ensure test planning and preparation are underway.Engage business users in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) monitoring project risks, issues, and dependencies.Proactively communicate potential delays, impacts, and recommended corrective actions to stakeholders.F. System Integration TestingCoordinate the deployment of complete functionality to the testing environment.Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to test frontend and backend functionality, APIs, integrations, and other applicable components.Manage the bug-triage process, including prioritization, assignment, resolution tracking, and retesting.Monitor testing progress and escalate critical issues that may affect the project timeline or production readiness.G. User Acceptance TestingPartner with Product Management, business stakeholders, and end users to test functionality in the UAT environment.Track and monitor bugs, defects, and other issues identified during UAT.Ensure issues are promptly assigned, prioritized, resolved, and retested.Coordinate stakeholder approval and confirm business readiness for production deployment.H. Production DeploymentCollaborate with Release Engineering, DevOps, QA, Product Management, and other relevant teams to prepare systems and functionality for production deployment.Coordinate release planning, deployment readiness, and go-live activities.Work with QA and UAT teams to conduct comprehensive regression testing.Confirm that appropriate controls and contingency plans are in place to minimize disruption to the production environment.I. Warranty Period and Post-Launch SupportMonitor the production environment following launch to identify and address emerging issues.Coordinate the timely investigation, assignment, and resolution of production issues.Review adoption and performance of newly deployed functionality to assess project success and support a smooth proactively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly and minimize business disruption.Provide post-launch status updates and document lessons learned, outstanding risks, and recommended follow-up actions.
