Role OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Director of Finance & IT to lead, stabilize, and continuously improve the company’s financial and technology operations during a critical growth phase. This person must be highly organized, proactive, strategic yet operationally hands-on, and capable of independently managing core finance and IT responsibilities while communicating clearly and consistently with leadership and broader teams.This role requires a strong ownership mentality, operational discipline, systems thinking, and the ability to bridge finance, technology, and business operations in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. We are looking for a structured, people-oriented leader who thrives on metrics, process improvement, and innovation — someone excited to help modernize and scale a growing private label jewelry company.This role will play a key part in supporting the company’s Microsoft Dynamics (MS-DAX) implementation, digital transformation initiatives, and integration of AI-driven operational improvements finance operations and ensure continuity across all finance functionsOversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processesManage cash flow monitoring and weekly cash reportingMaintain accurate financial records and transaction processingOwn month-end close process and reconciliation activitiesEnsure invoices, payments, approvals, and filings are processed accurately and on timeMaintain organized finance documentation, trackers, reporting structures, and internal controlsCoordinate with external accountants, banking partners, auditors, and consultantsIdentify financial risks, operational gaps, and escalation items proactivelySupport operational efficiency initiatives across departments through improved systems and reportingLead and support finance team as well as stakeholdersFinancial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare and maintain weekly and monthly financial reporting packagesOwn preparation and delivery of:Profit & Loss Statements (P&L)Balance Sheet reportingCash Flow reporting and forecastingFinancial StatementsTrack company performance against budget, forecast, and prior periodsProvide leadership with visibility into cash position, liabilities, receivables, margins, and operational financial risksEnsure reporting accuracy, timeliness, and consistencySupport leadership decision-making through clear financial insights, analysis, and recommendationsDevelop scalable KPI dashboards and operational reporting structuresIT, Systems & Digital TransformationOversee company IT operations, infrastructure, vendors, and technology support processesServe as a key
