Travel RN - Neonatal ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) travel assignment in Reno, NV, requiring a minimum of 3 years of Level III or higher NICU experience and an active NV RN license.Job Details• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a large regional medical center in Reno, NV,• Level III or higher NICU environment,• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week,• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts,• One additional shift pickup required per scheduling period,• Floating to other units may be required, up to the traveler's competency level,• Call requirements to be discussed during interview,• 13-week contract,• Uses Epic for charting; training available during orientation or candidates may test out,Job Requirements• Active NV RN license required; candidates who have never held a NV temp or permanent license may be considered but must apply immediately upon offer,• Current AHA certifications: BLS and NRP,• Minimum 3 years of exclusive NICU experience in a Level III NICU or higher,• Ventilator experience required,• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,Additional Information• Provides comprehensive nursing care to NICU patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation throughout the episode of care,• Coordinates care with other healthcare professionals and incorporates family into the care planning process,• Epic EMR is used for charting; orientation training is available, or candidates may test out,• A minimum of 2 major holidays will be required during the contract,• Blocked scheduling is not permitted,• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must take a 13-week break after their last contract ends before returning,
