Program Manager - Defense Programs Caledonia, MS | In-Person | $120K - $140K /yr | Full-TimeA well established and growing aerospace manufacturing company with deep roots in the industry is hiring a Program Manager to help lead the execution of large scale defense contracts. This is a chance to join a team that cares about their people and is scaling toward major growth in the coming years.What You'll Do:Plan, schedule, and manage execution of large, complex DoD programs from start to finishServe as a key point of contact for senior military leaders, government representatives, and industry partnersLead cross-functional project teams and keep everyone aligned on tasks and deliverablesOwn program budgets, monitor costs, and ensure efficient use of resourcesIdentify risks early and build mitigation plans to keep programs on trackManage scope, schedule, and resource changes with proper documentation and approvalsSupport compliance with ITAR and CMMC requirementsDrive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma principlesWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experiencePMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification required10+ years of experience as a Program Manager in a DoD environment managing large scale projects ($100M+)Industry-side program management experience strongly preferred over USG-sideNavy program background is a big plusAdvanced MS Office skills, including MS ProjectMust be a U.S. Person as defined under 22 U.S.C. 6010What's In It For You:Competitive salary with growth potentialA leadership-level seat contributing directly to company strategyMinimal travel requiredFull-time schedule, Monday through ThursdayOpportunity to work on some of the most impactful programs in the defense industryThis is a high visibility role with a company on a serious growth trajectory.
