#Construction Industry Must be authorized to work in the United States Location: Nazareth, PA 5 days a week onsite Salary Range: $100-$150K Company-paid healthcare premium for employees, 75% coverage for dependents, no waiting period for coverage. Dollar for dollar match up to 3% kicks in after earning $5,000 A heavy construction subcontractor who has a strong reputation for structural steel and precast concrete on some bridges, highway, and infrastructure projects in the region. The ideal candidate is a hands-on safety professional with deep knowledge of heavy construction, structural steel erection, or precast concrete work who can operate equally well in a boardroom and on a job site. The Director of Safety is a senior leadership role responsible for building, managing, and continuously improving Structural Services’ comprehensive safety program. This individual will serve as the company’s primary safety authority — championing a culture of zero incidents, ensuring full regulatory compliance, overseeing the workers’ compensation program, and serving as the key safety liaison with our general contractor partners. Qualifications: 5+ years in a managerial or director-level safety role. • Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926, including Subpart R (Steel Erection 10+ years of safety experience in heavy construction, with knowledge of structural steel erection, ironwork, or precast concrete operations. Experience managing workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs. • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement safety policies and procedures. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with field crews, project managers, and general contractor safety teams. • Willingness to travel regularly to active job sites throughout the region.For more information, please reach out to phyllism@bachrachgroup.com
