General Gastroenterologist BrightonLocation: Brighton, MAPosition Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleMedical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Gastroenterologist to join their expanding GI service. This is a collaborative faculty position with clinical responsibilities primarily at MC Brighton, while maintaining an academic and clinical affiliation with the Department of Gastroenterology at MC and Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.The ideal candidate is a skilled clinician with a strong interest in community-based gastroenterology supported by the resources and academic environment of a major teaching hospital.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide outpatient and inpatient consultative gastroenterology care at MC BrightonPerform routine GI procedures including EGD and colonoscopyManage a wide range of GI conditions including GERD, liver disease, IBS, IBD, and GI bleedingParticipate in rotating inpatient coverage and call scheduleCollaborate with MC s tertiary GI team for advanced cases and referralsWork alongside a multidisciplinary care team including advanced practice providers, GI nurses, and anesthesiology supportOptional academic involvement including:Teaching opportunities with medical students and residentsParticipation in clinical quality initiativesScholarly or research collaboration with BMC Department of Gastroenterology (if desired)QualificationsMD or DO from an accredited institutionBoard Certified/Board Eligible in GastroenterologyCompletion of ACGME-accredited GI fellowshipEligible for medical licensure in MassachusettsStrong clinical skills with dedication to patient-centered careCommitment to health equity and mission-driven medicineExcellent communication and team collaboration abilitiesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation with productivity incentives: Base Pay: $480k-510kComprehensive health, dental, vision, and malpractice coverageRetirement plan with employer contributionGenerous paid time offCME support and professional development fundingOpportunity for growth into leadership or program development rolesEqual Opportunity Employer/Disabled/VeteransMust haves:MD or DO from an accredited institutionBoard Certified/Board Eligible in GastroenterologyEligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
