Assistant Buyer
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveAssistant Buyerto support Procurement and Sourcing functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is heavily focused on ensuring compliance with company policies, cost controls, and supplier performance standards and plays a key role in maintaining operational continuity and supply chain efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and managequotes, bid waivers, and purchase orders , including capital expendituresSupportgoods receipt and invoice reconciliationParticipate indaily planning meetingsMonitor supplier performance related toquality and on-time deliveryIdentify and sourcealternate suppliersto improve supply chain resilienceExpedite orders as needed to prevent production delaysReview and analyzevendor reportsto ensure order fulfillment and resolve discrepanciesCollaborate cross-functionally withOperations, Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, and Supply ChainSupportpackaging cycle count accuracyQualifications3+ years' experience in purchasing, negotiation, price discount schedulesStrong SAP (ERP) experienceStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailExcellentwritten and verbal communication skillsProven ability to manage scheduling and coordination tasksProficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite(Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced settingReady to make an immediate impact?
