Wireless Engineer
About the role:We are seeking a Wireless Network Engineer to support large-scale, carrier-grade WiFi deployments for a leading telecommunications client. This role requires hands-on experience with modern WiFi technologies and the ability to work in high-impact production environments.Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise and carrier-grade wireless networks.Work on large-scale WiFi environments with high user density. Perform network optimization, RF tuning, and performance analysis. Support live network environments with high blast radius. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable wireless solutions. Utilize Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentation.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong experience with WiFi standards including IEEE 802.11n, IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11ax, and IEEE 802.11be (non-negotiable). Hands-on experience with wireless network design, architecture, and deployment.Strong understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing and switching. Experience working in large ISP, telecom, or high-scale enterprise environments.Familiarity with wireless technologies, RF concepts, and access point deployments.Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Visio.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience. Minimum 5+ years of wireless networking experience. Certifications such as CCNP Wireless or vendor-specific training (Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, etc.) are preferred.
