Position SummaryThe Marine Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing yacht maintenance, diagnostics, and repair services as directed by the Service Manager while delivering high level customer service. This role requires strong technical expertise, independent problem solving skills, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.Technicians are dispatched directly to job sites and must be capable of working independently while always representing the company professionally.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesArrive on time and be prepared to depart for assigned jobs by 8:00 a.m.Perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on yachts and marine equipmentTroubleshoot engines, generators (gensets), and onboard systems and provide repair recommendationsRepair or replace defective components with high quality workmanship within estimated timelinesIdentify manufacturer information, serial numbers, and vessel data and document accuratelyComplete and submit parts order forms prior to ordering partsSubmit parts orders by 10:15 a.m. for same day delivery when applicableStart, test, and verify proper operation of repaired equipmentProperly protect and cover vessels while performing maintenance workMaintain a clean work area and secure vessels upon job completionReport unusual findings or safety concerns immediately to the Service ManagerSubmit time sheets and work orders dailyFollow all company safety guidelines and procedures at all timesReport injuries immediately and seek medical assistance when requiredPerform additional duties as assigned by the Service ManagerCandidate Profile – Marine TechniciansMust own personal tools and a reliable vehicle (independent, mobile role)Strong background in marine repair and yacht maintenanceDealer certifications preferred (e.g., Fisher Panda, Mercury, Panda Generators)Extensive experience considered in lieu of formal certificationsCompany willing to invest in training and certification for the right candidatesOpen to a mix of experience levels:Highly experienced master technicians (20–30 years)Emerging technicians with strong growth potential
