Maintenance Tech

The Maintenance Technician IV is responsible for performing regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on machinery and equipment. Duties also include troubleshooting, root cause analysis, installing new equipment, and recommending improvements.Please note, this is a 3rd shift position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00PM to 12:30AM.*Essential Functions: (The reason this job exists is to perform these functions. These functions are performed regularly, seriously impacts other jobs, and there are a limited number of employees whose performance of the function can be distributed.)Complying with health and safety regulationsAssembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipmentTroubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenanceReading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manualsMaintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machineryPerform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systemsCleaning, repairing, and installing equipment and parts as neededOperating a variety of hand and power toolsMaintaining a clean and organized work areaPerforming general maintenance work on buildings, as assignedRead and comply with work orders concerning PMs, modification or installation of machineryWork effectively with other team members in a loud environmentPerforms all other duties as designated by ManagementEssential Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
