Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Telemetry position in Ottumwa, IA, requiring a minimum of 1-2 years of experience and an active IA or compact RN license.Job Details• Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit in a regional hospital setting serving a broad adult patient population,• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM,• Every other weekend requirement,• Patient ratio of 1:6 with CNA and LPN support staff,• Uses MediTech EHR,• Floating may be required within a 25-mile radius of the facility,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active IA RN license or compact RN license required,• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred but not required,• HWC (Hands-With-Care) certification required,• 1-2 years of RN experience required,• RQI certifications are not accepted,• Social Security number required for consideration,• Date of birth required for consideration,Additional Information• Travel experience is preferred but not required - first-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible,• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment,• Iowa SING background check (criminal and child abuse portions) required to clear prior to start,• Mandatory Reporter certification (Child and Adult) required,• Drug screening must be a 10-panel test including opiates,• Immunization titers must be dated within the last 12 months,• COVID vaccination card required,
