Real Estate Development and Entitlement Manager
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Entitlements Manager to join our team. This role will be instrumental in navigating the complex regulatory environment, securing necessary approvals, and ensuring compliance with entitlement processes for our land development projects. You will play a critical role in managing the entitlement process for land development projects. This position requires a deep understanding of zoning regulations, land use policies, and the ability to collaborate and negotiate effectively with regulatory authorities and government agencies. The Entitlements Manager will be responsible for securing all the necessary approvals to facilitate the successful execution of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive analysis of zoning regulations, land use policies, and entitlement requirements for specific projects.
Advise internal teams on zoning requirements and compliance strategies.
Develop and implement procedures to navigate the entitlement process, including obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
Collaborate with regulatory agencies, planning departments, and other stakeholders to facilitate project approvals.
Prepare and submit all required documents for entitlement applications, including site plans, environmental impact assessments, and other relevant materials.
Ensure all submissions comply with regulatory standards and deadlines.
Maintain comprehensive tracking of all relevant data regarding any existing entitlements and approvals.
Foster positive relationships to facilitate open communication and timely approvals.
Identify potential risks and challenges in the entitlement process and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor changes in legislation that may impact land development projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, engineering, and project management, to ensure alignment with entitlement requirements.
Provide guidance on entitlement-related matters to ensure project success.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, Real Estate Development, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
Proven experience in entitlement management within the real estate or land development industry.
In-depth knowledge of planning, zoning, land use policies, and entitlement processes.
Strong communication and negotiation skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Technical savvy is a must. MS Office (proficiency in Excel, database, and OneNote software), Airtable, Mac OS, Google Suite, GIS, and Slack.
Knowledge of Google Earth, Photoshop, Publisher, Keynote
Ability to handle high workloads and a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and adding value.
Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks without compromise.
Proactively identifies issues that require resolution or follow-up and takes steps to resolve them.
The ability to work successfully in a team and build effective inside and outside working relationships is essential.

Salary: $54,770.41 - $70,000.00 per year
