Senior Information Technology System Administrator

What You Will Do:As our Senior Systems Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical expert responsible for the design, operation, automation, security, and continuous improvement of Korry’s enterprise systems infrastructure.You will ensure that systems across corporate and manufacturing environments operate securely, reliably, and efficiently, while supporting modern cloud platforms (Azure, Microsoft 365), AI-enabled tools (Microsoft Copilot), and advanced security monitoring (XDR, SIEM).This role combines hands-on operational ownership with advanced engineering responsibilities, acting as both the owner of day-to-day system performance and the final escalation point for complex technical and security challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Lead design and lifecycle management of enterprise systems infrastructureOwn day-to-day system operations, stability, and performanceManage Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), and Microsoft 365Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)Support Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled tools securelyDesign and support Azure cloud infrastructureDevelop automation using PowerShellAct as primary escalation point for complex system issuesPerform root cause analysis for outages and incidentsManage endpoint platforms (SCCM, Intune)Implement backup and disaster recovery solutionsEnsure compliance with CMMC Level 2 and NIST 800-171Maintain system documentation and standardsSecurity Monitoring & Threat Detection:Implement and support XDR platforms (Defender XDR, CrowdStrike)Integrate systems with SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk)Investigate alerts and support incident responseEnsure log collection, retention, and correlationImprove detection rules and monitoring coveragePreferred Skills & Qualifications:Technical ExpertiseWindows Server, Active Directory, Group PolicyMicrosoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)Azure AD (Entra ID), MFA, Conditional AccessAzure cloud platformMicrosoft Copilot / AI toolsSCCM, IntunePowerShell scriptingVMware / Hyper-VSecurity & MonitoringXDR platforms (Defender, CrowdStrike)SIEM tools (Sentinel, Splunk)Threat detection and incident responseEndpoint and identity securityExperience7–12+ years of systems engineering experienceExperience in enterprise or regulated environments preferredPreferred CertificationsAZ-104, AZ-305Microsoft 365 Enterprise AdminSC-200, SC-300CISSP (nice to have)Core CompetenciesProblem solving and critical thinkingOwnership and accountabilityAdaptability in fast-paced environmentsStrong communicationSalary RangePlease note the typical hiring range is $130,000 - $180,000 annually.
