Accounting Projects ConsultantOur client is seeking an Accounting Projects Consultant to partner with the CFO on system optimization, CRM initiatives, and high-level accounting support. Salary is $80-$100k, DOEABOUT OUR CLIENTMission-driven organization serving the local communityStewards of public and grant funding with strong compliance standardsCollaborative, direct communication cultureBusiness casual environment with a small, engaged leadership teamOpportunity to work directly with executive leadership and drive meaningful systems improvements as the Accounting Projects ConsultantRESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING PROJECTS CONSULTANT:The Accounting Projects Consultant will lead CFO-directed projects including system optimization and utility billing process improvementsThe Accounting Projects Consultant will evaluate systems, recommend enhancements, and implement streamlined workflowsProvide hands-on GL, AP, and AR accounting support during staff absences or backlog periodsWork independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong communication with leadershipPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTING PROJECTS CONSULTANT:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldStrong hands-on GL accounting experience with ability to work independentlyExperience with Yardi or similar property management software is a plusNonprofit, HUD, or public funding exposure is a plusSalary is $80-$100k, DOE
