This role is ideal for someone at the start of their sales or commercial career who is keen to learn how deals are shaped, sold, and delivered within a technology consultancy.You will work closely with senior Commercial Managers, delivery leads, and technical specialists to support pre-sales activity, manage client relationships, and help progress opportunities from first conversation through to contract.This is a development role, offering exposure to real client work, structured mentoring, and a clear progression path into more senior commercial or sales roles as Hypercube grows.What You'll Be DoingDay to day, you are responsible for the following:Support the sales and bid process, including proposal preparation and commercial documentation.Help manage client and prospect relationships, including meeting coordination and follow-upsAssist with account research, prospecting, and pipeline development.Work alongside technical teams to understand client challenges and how data, cloud, and AI can address them.Support the drafting and administration of contracts, Statements of Work (SoWs), and pricing models.Maintain CRM records and support accurate sales forecasting.Contribute to joint go-to-market campaigns with partners and collaborators.Learn how commercial risk, pricing, and delivery oversight are managed in a consultancy environment.You'll also be encouraged to take part in Hypercubes community and knowledge-sharing activities, including events, blogging, or speaking, if that's something you're interested in.AccountabilitiesSupport achievement of quarterly sales and pipeline targetsContribute to high-quality, commercially sound proposalsMaintain accurate CRM and pipeline dataBuild positive relationships with prospects, customers, and partnersRepresent Hypercubes values and culture in all interactionsSkills & ExperienceStrong interest in sales, commercial roles, or business developmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsConfident, organised, and proactive approach to workAbility to learn quickly in a fast-paced environmentStrong written skills for proposals, emails, and client communicationComfortable working with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Some experience in a sales, commercial, or customer-facing roleExposure to technology, consulting, or professional servicesInterest in energy, renewables, or sustainabilityFamiliarity with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce)Direct experience in energy or cloud is not required — we will support learning and development.What's in it for you?A structured entry point into technology consulting salesHands-on experience working with experienced commercial and technical leadersClear progression opportunities as Hypercube growsExposure to cutting-edge cloud and AI projects in the energy sectorSupport to develop your personal brand through outreach and community activityA chance to help shape a growing company at an early stagePensionPerformance-related bonusEnhanced parental leave policyEvents and community participationPrivate health insuranceHealth cash planEV leasing schemeTraining and events budgetDiversity & InclusionHypercube aims to mirror the diversity of wider society.
