InServ is seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Leadership Team and help drive the next phase of growth. This role is ideal for a seasoned financial leader with deep construction industry experience who thrives in a multi-division, multi-state environment.As CFO, you will serve as a trusted business partner to the CEO and leadership team, providing financial direction, operational insight, and disciplined execution to ensure long-term stability, scalability, and profitability.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Strategic & Executive LeadershipProvide forward-looking financial insight to guide corporate strategy and growth initiativesPartner with executive leadership on long-term strategic planning and annual business plansIdentify financial risks and constraints, and develop innovative, data-driven solutionsChampion initiatives that drive sustainable, long-term valueFinancial Planning, Budgeting & AnalysisLead companywide budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiativesEvaluate new service lines, geographic expansion, and diversification opportunitiesDeliver meaningful financial analysis, KPIs, scenario modeling, and trend insightsAccounting, Reporting & SystemsLead and develop a high-performing finance and accounting teamEnsure accurate, timely financial reporting and regulatory complianceOversee audits, tax filings, and internal controlsEvaluate and implement financial systems and process improvements to support growthWorking Capital, Treasury & Risk ManagementOptimize cash flow, liquidity, and working capitalOversee bonding, financing, and capital planningPartner with Estimating and Operations to improve contract terms and reduce financial riskConduct ongoing risk assessments and implement mitigation strategiesEnterprise Financial LeadershipServe as a strategic financial advisor across all business unitsSupport cross-functional initiatives beyond traditional finance responsibilitiesDrive ROI-focused decision-making throughout the organizationWHAT YOU BRING:Minimum 3 years of experience as a Finance Leader, with demonstrated success in a multi-state, multi-division organizationExtensive construction industry experience, with strong knowledge of its financial, operational, and regulatory complexitiesProven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on executionStrong analytical, communication, and leadership skillsSkilled at creating and implementing KPI's that facilitate the management of growth, cost control, and profitability.Proficient in accounting application systems (server and cloud-based software, accounting software requirements definition, conversions).YOU ARE:Values-driven, aligning with InServ's commitment to people, excellence, growth, and trusted partnershipsA leader with integrity, earning trust through ethical, transparent decision-makingAccountable and results-driven, taking ownership and driving outcomesAnalytical and data-focused, translating complex information into clear insightsProcess-oriented, building scalable systems that support efficiency and growthA problem solver, thriving in complex, fast-paced environmentsA talent builder, skilled at developing high-performing teamsEducation & CredentialsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance requiredMaster's degree preferredCPA designation preferredWHY INSERV?Competitive pay that rewards your impactProfessional development and continuous learning opportunities401(k)Health, Dental and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Tuition reimbursementCOMPANY OVERVIEWFounded in 1992, InServ is a full-service industrial contractor serving the life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and food and beverage sectors.
