Waste Water/Water Treatment Technician Night shift 7pm to 7am HIRING BONUS $5000 As a Wastewater Operator, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water treatment facilities. Here's what you'll be doing:Responsibilities Perform sample collection, preparation, and analytical laboratory testing Adjust the system processes and equipment based upon system analysis and trends Maintain records, perform data entry, and provide detailed standardized reporting Monitor and manage system performance to assure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency Follow technical operating procedures and develop operational improvements Manage time effectively in order to multitask and make calculated decisions across multiple processes Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work; troubleshoot equipment and diagnose problems Maintain high degree of cleanliness for all treatment facilities and equipment QualificationsWe want someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and possesses the following skills and qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills: You'll be a team player who collaborates effectively with others. Excellent decision-making, time management, and organizational skills: You'll handle multiple priorities like a pro. Ohio EPA Class 1 wastewater operator license is preferred upon hire; must be obtained within a reasonable timeframe set by Shearers. Ability to work independently with a "get-it-done" attitude.
