Project must be approved within 3 months of hire.\n\n\nLicensure, Certifications, and Clearances:\n\nCPR Certification: Required based on AHA standards, including both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.\nPennsylvania Employees:\n\nRespiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.\nRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).\nRespiratory Therapists who receive their RRT credential from the NBRC after July 1, 2002, must maintain certification under the NBRC requirements.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBasic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)\nOsteopathic Respiratory Care OR Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP)\nRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)\nAct 33 with renewal\nAct 34 with renewal\nAct 73 FBI Clearance with renewal\n\nUPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
