Global Payroll Manager

Voy is partnering with a publicly traded deep-tech company to hire a Global Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll operations across the US and 15+ countries in APAC and EMEA.Responsibilities:Payroll operations across the US and 15+ countries in EMEA, APAC, and Canada — ~400 cycles per yearDirect management of an experienced senior payroll specialist, plus hiring and scaling the team as the company growsGlobal vendor management, SLAs, and country-specific statutory complianceQuarter-end and year-end close, statutory reporting, and benefits reconciliationsEquity and stock-event processing, off-cycle pay, garnishments, and leave programsSOX controls, audit readiness, and control framework designADP-based payroll operations today; leading the migration to the next payroll platformAnalytics and reporting to support Finance and HR leadershipRequirements:10+ years of progressive payroll experience, with substantial hands-on global exposure across both EMEA and APAC (US experience is a plus but not required — we have that covered)A true leader and a true processor — comfortable running a cycle yourself and coaching a team that does the samePublic-company experience with SOX controlsDeep HRIS/payroll system depth (ADP, Workday, UKG, or comparable); prior platform-migration experience is a strong plusAdvanced Excel and analytical chops (dashboards, reconciliations, root-cause)Strong communicator with executive presence — you'll partner across HR, Finance, Equity, and LegalCompensation & Benefits:Base salary: $150,000 – $200,000 (Santa Clara, CA)Quarterly performance bonus — equity-based, awarded on project completionEquity: new-hire grant with 4-year vest and 1-year cliff; eligible for annual refresh grants starting in year 2Benefits: 401(k), medical / dental / vision, life insurance, parental leave, legal services, and PTO
