Senior Business Analyst With SAP Systems (Semiconductor Manufacturing )

Position: Senior Business Analyst (BA) With SAP Systems (Product Engineering (Manufacturing / Semiconductor)Type: Long term Contract Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) 2 – 3 days a week from office We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with strong domain knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing and hands-on exposure to SAP systemsThe ideal candidate will act as a critical liaison between business stakeholders, manufacturing operations, and IT teams, supporting digital transformation, process optimization, and system modernization initiatives within semiconductor manufacturing environments.Key Responsibilities: Domain & Business Analysis • Serve as a SAP (Systems) for semiconductor manufacturing processes, including: ? Wafer fabrication (Fab) ? Assembly, Test, and Packaging ? Yield, quality, and defect analysis • Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, product engineering, and IT teams to understand business objectives and challenges. • Analyze end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain processes and translate business needs into actionable requirements.SAP & Systems Engagement • Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams across modules such as: ? SAP PP (Production Planning) ? SAP MM (Materials Management) Support integration between SAP and manufacturing systems, including: ? MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) ? Planning, yield management, and data reporting platformsRequirements & Process Management • Elicit, document, and manage: ? Business Requirements Documents (BRD) ? Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) ? Process flows, use cases, and data mappings • Ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements from definition through implementation and validation. • Perform impact analysis for changes across SAP and manufacturing systems.Testing & Delivery Support • Define UAT test scenarios and support execution with business users. • Validate SAP configurations and integrated solutions against manufacturing and quality requirements. • Support issue triage, defect resolution, and post-implementation stabilization.Stakeholder Management • Act as a trusted interface between US-based business users, global delivery teams, and external vendors. • Facilitate workshops, requirement reviews, and design discussions. • Provide clear, concise communication to program leadership and senior stakeholders.
