Assembler - Manufacturing

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Assembler to join our growing TEAM! Manufacturing Assemblers specialize in high-volume, fast termination processes for Audio and Video cable termination. Assemblers are encouraged to take ownership of their work and manufacture a high-quality product in a timely manner. Effective communication with the department Team Leader will continuously establish and improve the quality of production.On-the-job trainingwill be performed by the department Team Leader to ensure all cables are assembled properly. We provide employees with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, tools, and procedures for the processing of coaxial and other types of cables.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:Familiarity with cables, connectors, interfaces, and small hand tools.Learn manufacturing systems used for inventory picking/packing/kitting, work order Bill of Materials (BOM), inspection and testing procedures, gluing procedures, basic soldering procedures, crimping procedures, and various procedures for tubing materials and cable processing.Team-oriented and able to receive daily work order assignments accordingly.Reference the list of jobs, or assigned jobs, to complete for customers' orders and stock replenishment.Assemblers are required to take ownership of their work and provide a visual inspection, a mechanical inspection, as well as basic continuity testing before submitting work for final test and approval.Ability to provide critical in-process feedback.Demonstrate knowledge and experience in detail-oriented jobs, accuracy with numbers, and part numbers.Create high-quality products in a timely manner.Communicate effectively with the Team Leader to continuously establish and improve quality in the production process.Able to read and understand internal procedures and policies.Maintain a clean and organized workstationAll employees are required to adhere guidelines for safety, PPE, tool use, etc.All employees are required to read and follow the employee manual distributed by Tower Products Incorporated and the Quality Policy Statement.All personnel wash their hands when shifts are completedAbility to lift up to 75lbs (employees are instructed regarding safe lifting practices and are required to seek help when lifting anything too heavy, regardless of the weight or size)Skills & Qualifications:Solid mathematical skillsAnalytical abilities with close attention to detailExcellent organizational skillsExcellent time management skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to successfully use a computer systemAbility to work well with the teamAbility to move and/or lift up to 75 lbs. - instruction required on safe lifting practicesAdaptability & flexibility - frequently required to walk, sit, use hands, hand tools, reach & stretchAbility to work, talk/listen in loud environmentsAptitude for learningTake pride in their workCompetitive Benefits Include:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time off401(k) retirement planProfit-sharing bonus programEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Additional Information:
