Catering Staff Recruiter
We are looking for a person that will identify appropriate candidates, screen resumes, build recruitment pipelines from talent sourcing and attract ideal candidates to hire. A successful recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. A recruiter should be able to attract candidates using various sources, such as social media, schools, networking, and employee referrals. Our ideal recruiter has a combination of work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best event staff, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
Responsibilities
Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
Network development
Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/online boards/colleges/churches/schools etc.
Screen candidates resumes and job applications
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Work closely with staffing coordinator to ensure retention of staff
Skills
At least 1 year of proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.)
Comfort with various online platforms and social media
Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
1 year of experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS) - Paycor a plus
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong decision-making skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
Hospitality experience a plus

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
