DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Inside Sales is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution of the inside sales organization, driving revenue growth, pipeline generation, and quota attainment. This role oversees frontline sales managers and representatives, ensuring consistent execution of sales strategies, high activity levels, and strong conversion performance. This leader partners closely with Sales Enablement and Sales Operations to ensure the team is equipped, trained, and supported with the tools, processes, and insights needed to succeed. The ideal candidate is a high-energy sales leader with a proven track record of building, coaching, and scaling inside sales teams in a performance-driven environment. ACCOUNTABILITY SUMMARY: To Customers: Ensure a high-quality, responsive, and value-driven buying experience across all touchpoints. To Employees: Coach, develop, and inspire inside sales teams and Customer Account Manager to achieve and exceed performance goals. To Owners: Deliver consistent revenue growth, strong pipeline development, high renewal rates, and high quota attainment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and manage inside sales managers, account executives, and CAM and BDR teams. Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against revenue targets. Establish activity metrics and performance standards (calls, meetings, conversions, customer touch points). Coach sales leaders and reps on deal strategy, pipeline management, and closing techniques. Partner with Sales Enablement to reinforce training, onboarding, and sales methodologies. Collaborate with Sales Operations to ensure accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting. Recruit, hire, and onboard top sales and account management talent. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, competition, and continuous improvement. Monitor sales funnel performance and implement strategies to improve conversion rates. Provide regular performance updates and insights to executive leadership. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly manage inside sales, business development and account management leadership.. Indirect oversight of CAM's and/or BDR's. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field. MBA preferred, but not mandatory. 7-10+ years of experience in inside sales or sales leadership roles. 3-5+ years managing high-performing sales teams. Proven success in B2B sales environments, preferably SaaS or technology. Experience with CRM, LMS, and sales productivity tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Seismic, etc.). ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills. Deep understanding of inside sales motions and high-volume sales environments. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, results-oriented environments. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Professional office environment with flexibility for remote collaboration and occasional travel for industry events and leadership meetings. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 75% domestic travel for conferences, partner meetings, or customer engagements.
