Application Project Manager

*Overview* We are seeking an Application Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of application projects to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget. *Responsibilities* - Develop project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables - Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects - Manage project timelines, resources, risks, and quality assurance - Perform risk management to minimize project risks - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation - Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget - Use project management tools such as Jira to track project progress *Skills* - Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting - Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines - Experience with creating and executing test cases for software applications - Knowledge of PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) principles - Familiarity with various project management methodologies - Ability to vaticinate potential project issues and proactively address them - Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes - Background in software development processes and lifecycle Job Type: Contract Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Compensation Package: Hourly pay Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Experience: Project management methodology: 5 years (Required) SQL: 1 year (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chicago, IL 60601
