Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in eastern Pennsylvania with an opportunity for a skilled OB Hospitalist to provide locum coverage. Opportunity Overview: Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a-7a Setting: Inpatient Level I Nursery Annual Volume: 750 deliveries OB Duties: Triage, labor management, vaginal births and c-sections, postpartum sterilization, and postpartum care GYN Duties: ED and floor consults, acute surgical care, and possible D&E for miscarriages Required Procedures: Labor induction, deliveries, laceration repairs, birth control placement, surgical management of ectopic pregnancy, torsion, etc. Support Staff: Nurses, CNM, PA, technical and perioperative support, in-house anesthesia, and in-house pediatrics EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses During your time off, hike wooded state park trails, stroll through a historic mountain-top downtown, and dine at local eateries.
