We are one of the region's largest contractors with plans to keep growing.Day to Day Responsibilities:Taking and verifying field measurementsFabricating sheet metal pieces for installation on commercial and industrial roofsPracticing proper operation and maintenance of metal fabricating tools and equipmentInstalling sheet metal on commercial and industrial roofs to make roofs watertightMaintaining cleanliness and organization of job siteThe Ideal Candidate For This Role Is Someone Who:Is forward thinking with the ability to plan what resources are needed to complete a task.Provides excellent customer service and views their co-workers as their customers in addition to external parties.Reliably and consistently produces high quality work.Desired Skills and Experience:High School DiplomaEmployment Requirements:Must be at least 18 years of age.Must be eligible for employment in the United States.Must have reliable transportation.All candidates must be willing to join union or are currently union members.Physical and Mental Requirements:Must be able to work at heights.Regular lifting up to 75 lbs.Must understand general arithmetic and read and write English at a high school level.Must be able to perform coordinated movements of the limbs including walking, turning, stooping, reaching, carrying, stepping over and around obstacles, and climbing ladders and scaffolding.Must be able to sit, stand, or kneel for extended periods of time.Work Environment:Work is conducted in a construction environment.
