Construction Project Engineer

## Company Toneman Development Corporation is a commercial/industrial general contractor. Currently, we operate in two states, California and Nevada. Our main corporate office is located in Lancaster, CA. ## Job Summary We are seeking a skilled construction project engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Projects, Procore and Excel. Must have good communication skills. ## Responsibilities - Create detailed drawings using software such as AutoCAD - Collaborate and Oversee Architect, Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer and MEP Engineer to develop design concepts - Coordinate with the appropriate authorize for Site Utilities, i.e. water, sewer - Coordinate Submittals and RFI - Coordinate meetings with Owners, City, County, Architects or appropriate parties - Submit plans to city or county to obtain permits for construction job - Maybe required to do in person job walks - Coordinate with our Estimating Department to value engineer a project - Review and modify designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications ## Qualifications - 5 + years’ experience in the construction industry - Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Adobe, Procore and AutoCAD - Ability to build and draft technical drawings with precision - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Job Type: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm Pay Rate: $25 to $35 per hour (Depending on Qualifications & Experience) Work Location: In Person, at corporate office in Lancaster, CA Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off Ability to Commute: * Lancaster, CA 93534 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Lancaster, CA 93534: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
