EC App Engineer

Application Engineer (EC) Maintaining business applications in the up-stream energy space for Chevron. They're migrating from on-prem to Azure Cloud and have one host engine component in AWS. They are working on SaaS solution experience and API integration.Focused on integration of systems after cloud migration is done. This role will not have to be as involved in the initial migration – more post migration. Integrations may not port over in cloud so need to reset the API integrations (mostly set up already by third party vendor but need to just connect etc.). Will be building out Azure pipelines and working with Azure and Ansible primarily. Do some work with business unit to help them with issues/troubleshooting but.Top must-have technologies/required experience for the position:Azure (pipelines, Azure DevOps, SaaS)Pipelining building is #1 for them by far as this is a gap in their team currently where they don't have expertiseAnsibleAPI workGeneric SQLPreferred qualifications:Energy Component Software (or similar energy up-stream type software) – HIGHLY PREFERRED and will be what gets the win but if someone is super strong in Azure pipelining and DOESN'T have this still wants to seeTechnical knowledge preferred but even some business knowledge would workNeed to be able to identify for move to cloud where things break and how to fix ideallyLevel of experience target (junior/mid/senior and/or years of experience): 3-5 years of experience; some mid-levelIndustry Experience requirements/preferences: O & G/Energy experience – wants to see
